The NMSU-A First-Generation Celebration Cookout and Panel was an inspiring event that brought together our first-generation college students, faculty, and staff to celebrate their unique journeys and achievements. Held on November 8th, the event featured a welcoming cookout with delicious food, a supportive atmosphere, and an engaging panel discussion. Panelists shared their personal stories, challenges, and triumphs as first-generation college students attending NMSU-A, offering valuable insights and motivation for attendees.
