Participants learned about the types of loans available, the borrowing process, and how to manage student debt responsibly. Whether planning to take out loans or already in the process, this session offered valuable guidance to help students make informed financial decisions for their education.

This event brings together a wide range of companies and organizations, offering students the opportunity to explore internships and full-time job prospects. This is a valuable opportunity for community college attendees to gain exposure to professional industries, network with potential employers, and prepare for their future careers.

As part of the recurring Workshop Wednesday series, RC3 Services at NMSU-A recently hosted a session on "Effective Communication and Contacting Professors." This workshop covered essential skills such as crafting professional emails, properly addressing professors, and using appropriate tones in academic communication. Led by our Student Success Coaches; Karo Ademila, Haley Nistler, and Pablo Ramirez, this presentation provided students with practical advice on how to navigate formal communication with faculty, a key skill for both academic success and future professional interactions. RC3 is funded by a Title V DHSI Grant from the Department of Education.
